For years, my world was defined by the lines of a football pitch. As a professional goalkeeper, I, Kunal Ripinkumar Patel, understood the meaning of commitment and sacrifice. But it was an injury—a severe ACL tear—that revealed a profound truth about value.
Playing through that pain, I helped my team win a critical tournament. Yet, two days after the final, when I asked to be registered for a future competition, the answer was brutal: “We can’t run a lame horse.” That moment, reinforced by a coach’s cold comment about treating players like commodities, was my turning point.
I realized: utility is temporary, but self-worth and control are permanent. My value could not be dictated by a coach’s immediate need or a temporary injury. That day, my childhood dream of building my own business—one where I led and valued everyone—hardened into a non-negotiable mission
